Since I had extra fabric I made a wreath. I got a wire hanger and bent it to a round shape. Cut strips of fabric and tied knots. I made it really tight together so it looked more full. |

We started the Holiday festivities by visiting Zoo Lights. It was a great time and much nicer/warmer than I thought it would be. We met up with Shawn’s family and got to see cutie Sam.
(warning: picture OVERLOAD)
The girls had a busy day and fell asleep on the way to Zoo Lights. It didn’t take them long to wake up once they saw all the beautiful lights.
Thanksgiving morning was kicked off with a walk/run with Stacy’s first annual Turkey Trot. All of the donations will be used to purchase gifts for Christmas Angels. Its always nice to start the day with some movement and giving to others.
This year we hosted Thanksgiving dinner for my family.
The girls made stuffed turkeys, we had them out for decorations.
The Chef
Fried Turkey… Amazingly good!
The girls made placemats too
What a fabulous day! I did miss my Brother and his little family and Shawn’s family, especially his grandparents as they are all such a big part of our lives.
My Mom ended up taking the girls to their house to spend the night. I decided to fight the crowds and hit up the black friday sales. Happy to say I bought all of “santa’s” gifts for the girls. We do still need to get them a big gift from Mom and Dad. We deserve most credit.
As Thanksgiving comes to end and Christmas quickly approaches I have so much to be thankful for! I am truly BLESSED!
Fun at the State Fair

Alicia and Mike’s Amazing wedding
We all met at the reception location where we welcomed with wine/beer and snack for the road. All their guests loaded up in huge buses and headed for Superstition mountain for the one of the most beautiful backdrops I have ever seen. Their wedding was amazing and I am so fortunate we are apart of their lives and got to witness one of the happiest days of their life.

Around the house
Most recently we painted some more. Got sod in the backyard. Put up our new Christmas tree.
