It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The official first weekend of December was a busy one.  Although oh so fun!  The girls are at a really fun age, sometimes.  They LOVE to talk about Santa and his elves.  Cute.  We have been listening to Christmas music everyday and have been trying to soak up a much of this wonderful time of year. 

We welcomed back Elfy…

The doorbell rang (gasp from Ava) who can it be.  Elfy!  Elfy came back to visit and watch over the girls to report to Santa. 

And here is where he will sit for a bit.  Hopefully I can be a little creative when it comes to Elfy surprising the girls.  There are so many great ideas on Pinterest.  We’ll see. 

Tumbleweed Tree Lighting…

We started the evening by some yummy drinks and food at San Tan Brewery.  LONG overdue we really enjoy San Tan.  Food and beer is superb, even the glasses.

I wasn’t too hungry so mostly indulged into this amazing goodness.  Cilantro Lime Hummus with veggies, chips, and pita bread! Very yummy. 

We got the girls pretzels.  Good!  when they were done we were not shy to dig in.  The BEST soft pretzel I have ever eaten

After we were done eating we headed to watch the lighting of the Tumbleweed Tree.  So original and perfect for this beautiful state.

Snowman pancakes…

UGH!  These were a major hit for the girls.  They almost couldn’t eat them because they were so darn cute.  I whipped these up Sunday morning while listening to Christmas music sipping on my cinnamon spice coffee. 

Message from Santa…

I came across Portable North Pole.  Really neat!  After our snowman breakfast and welcoming Elfy we all gathered together to watch a very special message from Santa himself.  Awesome to see their face when Santa says “I know a lot about you, you are 3 yrs old and you go to school”  Their cute little faces lighted up.  Love new memories.
