Our festivities began with our neighborhood egg hunt on Saturday.
Ava was a bit shy at first but was quickly persuaded to snatch up some eggs.
We convinced them to take a photo with the Easter Bunny. This was the best we could get.
Once we left we headed home to decorate eggs. Next year I will definitely be buying eggs from Costco. Two dozen was not enough for us!
On Easter Sunday the girls were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny left for them and to hunt for more eggs. As years past we had to golden eggs with money inside. That’s by far their favorite egg to find but the hardest.
Then it was off to Grandma’s house.
We all had a great time! Then it was time for Nana and Papa’s house. The kids braved the freezing pool. I forgot their bathing suits but shorts was enough for them.
We are so lucky to spend this time with family and watching the pure joy on our kids’ faces.
