FIRST GRADE GRADUATES

Ava and Adisyn had a great school year!  We are so proud of how much they've grown and still in denial we have second graders.  How did this even happen so quickly?!

Their last project of the year was about an animal of their choice.  Adisyn's class had The Arctic and she chose the snowy owl.  Ava's class had The Ocean and she chose the octopus.  They actually learned a lot about each animal and even though Shawn made their project (well, majority), we researched together and quizzed them on what they were going to say during their presentation at school.  They did awesome!

Ava earned the safety award for the second year.  She was so cute getting her award in front of everyone.

Ava's teacher also took pictures and emailed them to me.  So cute!

They also decided to finally spend the money they've been saving for about a year.  Money they were gifted and from the tooth fairy.  It was a good learning experience for them.  They were thinking oh I get these new toys and get to keep my money.  So, we had a discussion about it and they decided to take the plunge and spend it.

Now time to save up again.
